Details Day by Day
DAY - 1 Arrival – Delhi – Night in Delhi
Arrive by regular flight, assistance on arrival by our representative and transfer to hotel. Night in Delhi.
DAY - 2 Delhi --– Jaipur – Night in Jaipur
After break fast we shall leave towards Jaipur at 08.00 hrs and we shall arrive there at lunch time. We can visit around the Pink City, Jaipur and from the palace of winds we can have a breathtaking view of the city, Check in Hotel, Tan depending upon time we can visit te city Palace but the most essential would be to visit the BIRLA Temple at sunset where every eveing they hold prayers in which all can participate. Night stay in Jaipur.
DAY - 3 Jaipur –Night in Jaipur
After breakfast (09.00 hrs), we shall leave towards the neighbouring area of Amber to visit its magnificent fort walled palace, we will take an elephant ride until the entrance of the Fort. Amber was the old capital of Rajasthan for six centuries. After visit we shall return to Jaipur for Lunch, after lunch visit Gaitor, where beautifully crved memorials fo the royal family are situated after that we will visit the interesting ancient Observatory. Evening free to stroll around the Palace of winds market. Night stay in Jaipur.
** A bit of adventure : Jaipur is noted as one of the most chaotic city of India, where you can come across all types of models of automobiles form the latest to the classic, also animals like the elephants, camels, horses, etc. can be seen on the road itself.
DAY - 4 Jaipur - Abhaneri -Agra – Night in Agra
We shall leave towards Agra (07.30 hrs) and take the route of around 5 hrs. Before arriving to Agra we will visit Abhaneri in route. It is an impressive monument of VIII century, a stepwell in the form of a peacock, lunch on route. Continue towards the city of Taj Mahal, on arrival transfer to Hotel and in the evening visit Taj Mahal with the sunset. Night stay in Agra.
*Taj Mahal - As Mumtaz Mahal lay dying, she asked four promises from the emperor: first, that he build the Taj; second, that he should marry again; third, that he be kind to their children; and fourth, that he visit the tomb on her death anniversary. He kept the first and second promises. Construction began in 1631 and was completed in 22 years. Twenty thousand people were deployed to work on it. The principal architect was the Iranian architect Ustad Isa. The material was brought in from all over India and central Asia and it took a fleet of 1,000 elephants to transport it to the site.
Recommended: Take photos of Taj Mahal between 17.00 to 18.00, to see the spectacular color changes that are reflected on the marble of the monument.
** Taj Mahal is closed of Fridays.
DAY - 5 Agra - -Benaras ( Night Train ) --Night in Train
Day free to visit other monuments of this important city, in the evening we shall take a night train towards Benares (Varanasi). Night in Train.
DAY - 6 Benaras --Night in Benares
We shall arrive Benares in the morning. Arrival to the holy city par excellence, one that will leave a lasting impression on your soul. In the afternoon we shall visit Sarnath and its Stupa, where Buddha gave his fist lesion. Visit of Sarnath and its museum and return to lunch in Benares. In the evening visit the Ghats of Ganges to experience the prayers offered to the sacred river. Night stay in Benares.
DAY - 7 Benares - Delhi ( Night Train ) – Night in Train
Early morning we shall visit the Ghats of the sacred river and take a boat ride to see all the pilgrims doing their daily rituals and also to see the sun rising on the other side of the Ganges. After that we shall stroll through the narrow allies of the ancient part and visit the various ghats, temples and monuments of the holy city. return to hotel for breakfast and freshen up. Day free to simply spend around the River Ghats and see the spiritual peoples around it. In the late evening we shall take a night train towards Delhi. Nigth in Train.
DAY 8 : DELHI
We shall arrive to Delhi in the morning, assistance by our representative, day free for pending visits or shopping. Night in Delhi.
DAY 9 : DELHI
(09.00hrs) We will start the tour by visiting some of the places and monuments which are most important of New delhi and Old Delhi, where we will witness the starking contrast between the two parts. In Old Delhi we will visit the Jama Masjid, the biggest mosque of India, an the Chandni chowk, the city which is 400 years old. In New Delhi, we will visit the Imperial avenue of Rajpath, alongwith the Presidents House, Parliament house and the India Gate, the memorial of the soldiers, Memorial of Gandhi, etc… In the evening/night transfer to international airport to catch the return flight.
Recommended : Rent a rickshaw in Old Delhi to experience the ambience.
DAY 10 : DELHI - DEPARTURE
Night in flight and arrival to your country.
